What’s living in your locs?
Not a trick. Before we touch your hair we put a 200× camera on five spots of your scalp — front, crown, back, left, right — and you watch the screen with us.
Almost nobody has seen their own scalp that close. It is, reliably, the most unsettling thing that happens in this chair.
Then we steam it, wash it twice, dry it properly, and photograph the same five spots again. So the last thing you see is the good one.

Salt water, chlorine, sunscreen and long days outside all leave something behind — and it sits where you can’t see it. So we stopped guessing. The Reset puts a camera on your scalp before we start, steams and deep cleans it, and photographs the same five spots again at the end.
You can’t see the problem
Buildup sits deep inside the loc and flat against the scalp, where a mirror will never show it. The camera does — at 200×, on five spots, before anyone touches your hair.
Steam does the work
Fifteen minutes of steam softens what shampoo alone slides straight past. Then we wash twice, rinse with diluted apple cider vinegar, and dry you all the way through — because damp locs in a Seattle winter is how they start to smell.
Then you see it again
Same five spots, same magnification, same light. You leave knowing what changed instead of taking our word for it. We’re locticians, not doctors — nothing here grows hair, it just gives yours a cleaner place to grow from.
